SMALL BATCH TRIVIA WITH PHYSICAL COMPETITIONS TO BRIGHTEN UP YOUR LIFE!
Spring is on the way no matter what the weather says. Let’s enjoy it! Join Mile High Startups & Music March 31, 2023 for a few drinks and a lot of live music at Number 38 in RINO from 4-7pm with a special free show from local favorite Wes Watkins.
One of Denver’s most prolific and productive musicians, you’ve probably seen Wes Watkins playing trumpet with Nathanial Rateliff and the Nightsweats, The Other Black, Kid Astronaut, Wheelchair Sportscamp, Bonnie and the Beard, Izcalli, Air Dubai, Petals of Spain, and many more. But first and foremost, he's a band leader that assembles some of our most talented artists to craft the intricate compositions into artistic reality. With bands including up to two dozen members at times, he weaves his words and multi-instrumental skills through fresh blends of funk, soul, and R&B sounds.
Foxfeather has a unique sultry, rock and blues based sound. The vocal prowess from Carly Ricks Smith is clear and pronounced the backing harmonies are precise, powerful and elegant. The band provides a solid rock sound, fullness and room to explore on stage. When a lead singer has a range as diverse as Carly, it allows the band to move in many directions.
Rick Lobato, on acoustic guitar and vocals, is now performing with pedal steel ace Chuck Lettes. With a steady presence on the Colorado Front Range, they offer an heartfelt Americana-Country blend of crowd-pleasing music.
Sweet pedal steel and straight up guitar brings an authentic Music City vibe to every show!
Since early 2018 Tara Rose has been performing music full time and has traveled to spread her music extensively throughout the Colorado Rocky Mountains and has reached as far as Hawaii, Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, and Utah.
Tara plays the dynamic and rhythmic duo of acoustic guitar and kick drum to drive the energy flow throughout each song. She loves the opportunity to play with a slightly revolving cast of musicians as she feels it keeps the material fresh and inspiring!

A Brother's Fountain is a folk-inspired genre that you always wanted to hear, but never knew existed. Some call it indie folk, others call it Americana. They call it, “Colorado Campfire Folk”. The main inspirations for their music are the outdoors, friendship, adventure, and the great mysteries of life.
They're a rag tag group of best buds that took a back door into the music scene who started out busking on the street corners of Old Town Fort Collins, Colorado. These days, you’ll find A Brother's Fountain playing music while floating down rivers, camping in the backcountry, or at any venue that’ll host them.
After the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded in 1986, the world was devastated.

Originally from Louisville, KY, Trevor Michael is blending his country roots with the indie-folk of Denver, CO. His 2011 mid-west move was initially led by his decision to study Finance at Colorado State University. Alongside many years of work in banking post-college, he never stopped pursuing his passion for songwriting and performing.
His style is best described as modern mountain folk with a hint of bluegrass - this is especially emphasized during his live performances that frequently feature his dad on fiddle.

Dust from the years of performing has coalesced to form Buffalo Galaxy.
Each member brings with them a tradition of Bluegrass and American music as their launchpad, creating moments of energy and intensity generated by light-speed bluegrass, while exploring the deep-space between emotions.
In their three years as a band, Buffalo Galaxy has played over 200 shows around the greater midwest and Rocky Mountains. They have shared the stage with the Kitchen Dwellers, Dead Horses, and Daniel Donato. The band has brought their signature style to some of the regions finest festivals like Blue Ox, Boats and Bluegrass and many more. Buffalo Galaxy released their debut album “New Escape” during 2020 and their follow up will be out in early 2023.
