Why are we called number 38?

Our great state of Colorado was the 38th state to join the nation and we are all about celebrating the Centennial State and everything it has to offer! Take a look at our drink menu and you will find over one hundred drink options all created with Colorado-made brands!

Do we need reservations?

Nope! We do not offer table reservations.

But if you have a group of 30+ we invite you over to the Private Events page to let us help make sure your day goes great! We can also accommodate buyouts and big events up to about 1,000 people.

HOW DOES THE WRISTBAND WORK?

Its super easy. But we understand the first time can be a little scary.

Step 1: When you arrive you will open a tab with your ID and credit card.
Step 2: You’ll be given your wristband.
Step 3: Enjoy yourself!
Step 4: You have two options to close out:

1) Simply walk out and we’ll take care of closing your tab out with a 20% gratuity
2) Visit the check-in desk to manually close out your tab and provide the gratuity of your choice

If at any point you’d like to review your tab, just come on up to the check-in desk or ask a bartender and we’ll be happy to get you squared away. Your receipt is sent via text to your provided mobile number. Be sure to confirm your phone number by responding "YES" in order to receive your receipt!

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

You Betcha! (mostly)

Friendly, quiet dogs are welcome outside at Number 38 and must be on a leash at all times.

Dogs are not permitted indoors.

Dogs are also not allowed during ticketed events.

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Yep! Same Rules as With Dogs.

We’re just kidding, we are kid friendly. You don’t need to leash your kid and they’re allowed inside.

But if they bite someone… we’ll need to have a talk.

WHAT MUSIC DO YOU HAVE SCHEDULED?

Check the Calendar!

We will have something on the stage every day we’re open and the lineup changes daily.

I HAVE A $1 CHARGE ON MY CARD, BUT I DIDN'T PURCHASE ANYTHING

All guests open tabs upon arrival to use our wristband payment system and a $1 preauthorization is held on your card. If you don’t end up purchasing anything, this hold goes away within a few business days. Please contact your bank for questions regarding this timing.

I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT MY RECEIPT

A link to your receipt will be texted to you via the number you gave at check-in.

Still have a question? Send us a Quick Email and don’t forget to include your name, the date, and rough time of your visit.

What is this service charge?

Starting September 1st, 2023, we have begun adding a 1.5% service charge to all checks to ensure the continued success and stability of Number 38. This service charge goes directly to support our employee retirement plan, benefits, and safe work environment. This service charge is not a gratuity and does not go towards wages and may be adjusted periodically to reflect changes in these expenses.

Number 38 prides itself on providing an industry-leading employment experience for all our staff. We ensure that all employees receive a fair and livable wage, safe work environment, and access to benefits. The bar and restaurant industry in Colorado and across the nation has faced previously unimaginable challenges, from the global COVID pandemic to skyrocketing increases in costs and labor shortages.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

If you plan to drink, our first recommendation is to use a rideshare service! Otherwise, there is street parking available on Chestnut Place between 36th and 38th streets.

While street parking is limited, the Catalyst Parking Garage is always available, off the corner of 36th and Delgany St. just a short stroll to Number 38!
